CRYSTAL BEACH RESORT: Holy Week In Zambales

Where do you usually spend your Holy Week? Last year, me and my boyfriend decided to go to Crystal Beach in Zambales... it was our first out of town in 5 years. (HAHA!)

Because it was Holy Week, we had a hard time and the terminal (in Pasay) was crowded so I suggest to you guys to book early for less hassle. The second problem was the bus to Iba is already full so we decided to take an Olongapo tickets and ride another bus from there to take us to San Narciso. Our bus left at 11pm. We arrived at Crystal Beach 5-8 hours after as there was a traffic from Olongapo to San Narciso than the usual.

From San Narciso municipal hall which is just along the main road, we took a tricycle ride going to the resort proper. Paid 15php/person.

Reception Area

I suggest to bring your own tent which the entrance fee was 350php/night/person. Since we were not really prepared for the trip, like having a prepared food to grill, we cost money from their pricey meals. I propose to you guys to bring your own food or go buy outside the resort and cook it later.

After setting up our tent, we had our lunch at King Solomon's Hall.

And it's time to enjoy the sea...

At night, we experienced a bonfire in the middle of our kampsite and the other was on the shore, in front of the resort's open bar.

After we had our breakfast, we hit the beach, goofed around the resort, played like a kid and had some photoshoot before we head back to the reality.

If you want to do surfing, island hopping or borrow their ATV to roam around the beach resort, just ask them about it at the reception area.

Well, we did nothing but relax and enjoy the beach last year... what about this year? Have you planned it already? Hmm where to next? La Union? Baler? Batangas? Let's see... :)
