World Street Food Congress 2017
28 top street food chefs and vendors/hawkers from around the world came to Manila for this year’s World Street Food Jamboree. They include household names from India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, USA, Thailand, Mexico, Germany, Singapore, Japan. The World Street Food Congress' mission is to recognize energies and galvanize opportunities for the world’s greatest culinary heritage – comfort street food. The Jamboree started last May 31 and today is their last day. The said event was open to public earlier at exactly 1pm. Beating the heat with our hungry stomachs just to try the other country's street food specialties. There was an entrance fee of 150php which you can redeem in stalls of your choice. Because of the scorching heat & long lines, we lost our energy to eat more food and ended up ordering only 2 specialties from Indonesia and Japan.
